Ellen Creely

Ellen, a founding member of St. Bernadette, joined the parish staff in September of 2021. She holds a BS in Nursing from St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana and a Masters in Hospital Administration from University of St Francis in Joliet, IL. As a pediatric nurse, she cared for those dealing with chronic illnesses namely: cancer, cystic fibrosis, transplant recipients. Ellen is currently pursuing a Master's in Theology from St. Meinrads. Ellen is married to Jim since 1990 and together they have 4 adult daughters (2 of which graduated from Mother of Good Counsel and the younger 2 graduated from Saint Mary Academy). "Volunteering has always been important to me, and my goal as Neighbor Care Coordinator is to connect the needs of the community with the talents of our parishioners. " During her free time, Ellen enjoys reading, coffee dates with friends and playing with her 3 large dogs!
