Baptism Preparation for a Child Under 7
If you want to have your child baptized, please complete the form at the bottom of this page. After we receive your form we will be in contact to discuss what preparation is needed.
New Parents are required to complete a Baptismal Preparation Class before scheduling a baptism. The Baptism Preparation Class consists of an online component followed by one in-person class that meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month. Once your online component is complete, you will be scheduled to attend the in-person class.
If it has been over 2 years since you completed a baptismal preparation class for a previous child, then you will need to complete the online class, and the in-person class is optional.
If you are not a registered member of Saint Bernadette, you will need a letter of permission from your home parish or you will need to become a registered member of Saint Bernadette.
Group baptisms are celebrated monthly on the FIRST WEEKEND OF EACH MONTH outside of Mass.
On even number months (February, April, June, August, October, and December) the baptism is at 12:15pm on Sunday.
On odd months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) the baptism is at 5:15pm on Saturday. The May 3, 2025 baptism is moved to April 26, 2025 at 5:15pm.
*****PLEASE NOTE: Baptisms are not celebrated during LENT.
